Installing an LSD

I've got a 2003 G35 Coupe 5AT, and I've had a few problems with the wheels spinning a little too much. One of my friends recently purchased a brand new G35 Coupe 5AT, however, and informed me of the new LSD on it. I was wondering if anyone knows if dealerships will install one on my car? I'm obviously willing to pay, assuming the price is not entirely ludicrous.
If anyone could offer me insight regarding this it would be greatly appreciated.

i didn't think you could buy this from the dealership as a stand alone part...could be wrong though.

If you are going to spend that money, wouldn't you prefer a KAAS 2-way or Quaife LSD?

Do a search on Limited Slip Differentials and you'll find lots of good threads. First of all you need to ask yourself what you are going to do with your car. Are you going to track it at all (1320, autox, road racing)? If so, don't waste your money on a stock VLSD when for the same money or less you can get a superior clutch type lsd (Kaaz, Cusco, Nismo, etc.) Quaife may also come out with a Torsen type LSD in the future if you are patient enough to wait. On the other hand if you are going to just keep your car on the streets then perhaps the stock VLSD may be good enough for your needs although the for the same money you can get a superior clutch type lsd. Like I said do a search here and on MY350Z.com. Read this article on how differentials work. Use that to help inform yourself on an educated decision before you jump into buying a LSD for your car. Good luck.
