Dealer Warranty Question

Last summer I bought some high quality exhaust parts (pm me if you want to know the brands) and drove about 2000 miles before storing the car for winter. I noticed towards the end of the summer the exhaust starting sounding like it was cracked somewhere.

This spring I took the car out of storage and put it up on a lift and found cracks on my HFC's and mid pipe and y pipe. Again these are higher end parts. Both manufacturers replaced the parts and I had a local shop install again. Both companies said that I must have had broken motor mounts which caused the crack. So while the exhaust was getting put on they looked at it and said indeed the driver and passenger side mounts were bad. My car does not present any symptoms. It runs smooth at idle and there are no noticeable vibrations when cruising.

They told me they can fix it for about a grand with parts. Instead I took my car to the dealer and it was covered under my Infiniti Elite protection plan. The dealer called me a few hours ago and said that they checked and the mounts are just fine. WTF!

I know that small shops try to hose people, but I have gone to this shop a few times and they always seem to be honest. In fact they only charged me 25 bucks to re-install my exhaust and replace an 02 sensor.

Sorry for the long *** post. My question is should I take it to the other local dealer for another opinion? I have 15000 more miles of warranty remaining.
