When I bought my 07 6MT Coupe, I was told that the 07 Coupe had a different trans setup than the 06 and prior. I don't remember the exact wording, but something about the clutch release or something of that sort. I wanted to find out what differences (if any) there are between the transmissions, and if there is a clutch/flywheel difference (I need to replace mine, hence the need to know, lol). Searched for about an hour with no results, so I posted.

 

You are thinking about the 07 transmission in the 350Z and G Sedan with the HR motor. The HR 07+350Z and G35 Sedan have the different slave cylinder setup. The 07 G35 coupe used the old VQ35DE not the new VQ35HR

 

I know the engine difference, but I was under the impression it had something different in/on the trans in comparison to the 03-06. Something that caused the clutch to adj differently or the pedal to, or something like that. If not, then sweet, I'm just trying to find out, lol. Thanks for the reply!
