what if u stiffened your car up a bunch, with suspension mods, and sway, strut bars.. wouldnt it make drifting/ sliding around easier with less flex?

Definitely. Thats the point of a lot of those mods (struts and sway bars in particular) is to make the vehicle more rigid and eliminate sway, flex, etc and thus improve on handling.
