Which transmission (CD0xx) went into what year?

I was reading online about G35/350z 6MT transmissions and seems like there are many different versions and many of them had bad synchros. starting from CD002 up to CD009 I think

I have an 04 6MT and it grinds every now & then when pushing it hard into third. Someone in town totalled his car and hes selling his tranny & claims it was in an 06 350Z. I asked him to check what was the code on the transmission he said its CD002.

Any idea which CD0xx was put in which year?
Also could it be that his 06 350Z had a CD002? Based on what I read online, I thought all 06+ had CD009 in them.

Can anyone explain?

Bump. I'm interested in this as well. Just found out that my synchros are bad in my 03 6mt. tranny.

I'm looking to buy another one but from my quick search on this forum I haven't found anything in regards to which tranny have this issue fixed.

I did do some google-fu and to my understanding 06 was the year that Infiniti (I'm assuming Nissan as well) factory upgraded the synchros.

Any input would help out.

Couldn't get an answer. The tranny was cheap. So I bought it and its still sitting in my garage just incase mine broke.

as far as i know, after all the research for my 6MT swap that i'm doing:

CD #1 is CD008 which was 03-05 6MT
CD #2 is CD009 which was 06-07 6MT

The tranny I bought is stamped on few different spots.

The case stamped CD002, tail shaft stamped CD001 and the bell housing had a sticker that said CD009 and stamped as well on the inside of it with 009 as well.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
The 009 is the best for the first gen 6MTs.
