Changing gear ratios

Is it possible, or wise to change the gear ratio (taller) in the 05 Coupe 6mt? The gears seem lower than I'd like, and most of my driving is hwy. Would I have to re-tune (Osiris) if the gears were changed?

no retune is needed. i swapped my auto and manual diffs one day for ***** and giggles and there were no issues but it makes your car feel a little sluggish compared to the 6mt gears..not a whole lot but i could notice

Its possible but you'd have to get the input and output shaft gear custom made which wont be cheap. Then installation... Use the money you'd invest into this towards gas.

Just swap to an OEM diff that has a higher final drive.
