SS clutch line question
SS clutch line question
Hey guys. I installed the RJM Performance clutch pedal kit in my car about a month ago and I love it. However, I've noticed recently that my clutch pedal's height sometimes feels different. Everything on the pedal kit is tightened properly and there's no slack in the pedal so it's not installation error. It's just that at first when I had installed the kit the pedal felt a lot more "normal" like with other cars and even my previous B16 Civic with an ACT street clutch. However, now the pedal feel seems to vary, ranging from a height slightly lower than what I had initially fine tuned it to with the kit and very close to stock height. My question is, would a stainless steel clutch line fix this problem? I live in Portland so the weather hasn't gotten all that warm yet (nothing over 70) but I feel that the pedal feel may be due to expansion in the line. Z1 Motorsports sells theirs for $29 so it'd be a cheap fix if that were the cause. I'm a little strapped on cash so I'm hoping for a cheap solution to this. I will likely bleed the brakes as well which I believe I had already done last summer.
