Does this mean the car will have to rev a little bit higher(or lower) per gear? Will it make the shifts less smooth? or will it be fine?

yes it works fine

your RPMs will be a little higher per gear

you will accelerate a little quicker

you won't really notice anything different in the shifts/shift points

I managed to find a thread on nicoclub where someone did the same swap and cleared up my concerns so I bought it last night. $280 shipped for one with 80k miles, looking forward to it!
