whining sound

I have a whining sound that seems to come from the rear of my 06 manual coupe. It only does its while the car is moving. It doesnt matter if its in gear or not and it goes away after i drive the car for a few miles. I just replaced all wheel bearings and it didnt fix my problem. Any ideas what it could be?

How many miles on your car? Has the Diff ever been flushed? How does the rear diff bushing look?

112,000 miles and i bought the car a year ago so i doubt it has ever been flushed. I need to get under the car and look at the bushings still

I get the same sound with my car. I think it is the diff as well. I have changed the fluid and it did not go away. Doesn't seem to cause any problems...I think its just the diff being cold as it goes away after a few minutes of driving.

If it sounds like a flying saucer, you need a new ring and pinion. It COULD be a bearing but not likely.
