05 G35 Coupe Triptonic/Manuamatic stops working

So recently I tried using the triptonic/manuamatic (not sure what its called) but when I switch it from Drive and move it over to the right nothing happens, its says in drive instead of going to 1'st (if i'm at a stop) or to 3rd or 4th gear. Don't know what's wrong with this as a few days ago it was working just fine.

Also sorry if it's the wrong thread.

I''m having the same problem in my 03 g35 sedan. Every other time I use to triptronic mode it says stuck in D or it will say stuck in 3rd or 4th gear and wont shift out unless I put it back to regular D.
hmm.. funny this does not happen in my 07 g35 nor my m35. Maybe its a first generation thing?

Have you worked on your stereo before? There is a small guide for the shifter that blocks this if it isn't placed back in correctly.
