Camshaft driver sensor not angled

Sup guys, I am new here and I've learned a lot by reading through the forums. Much appreciated. Well here is my dilemma, I did the DIY procedure to replace bank 2 (p3045). As I took out the sensor, it wasn't angled, it was straight. After I took it off I tried connecting the angled sensor and it would not fit the harness but the straight sensor (passenger side) would. I haven't checked the passenger side because I did not have time but I will. I will post up pics. Just want to know if this is normal. Thanks!

Well looking through the threads the camshaft sensor on the drivers side, right under the throttle body, it is angled. I got a read of bank 2, so I figured the sensor was an angled but when I took it out it wasn't. That is why im confused.
