clutch problem?

hey guys, so i recently bought a 2004 g35 coupe with 100k miles on it. and this week i started noticing that when i drop the clutch and start to give it some gas, my rpm goes up but i dont accelerate. it feels like im driving an auto cuz my rpm will be like 3k then go down to 2k, then i start accelerating. i also noticed a burning clutch smell coming from the engine. im afraid to drive my car now, even driving it very softly. do i need to replace the clutch? flywheel? or is it a tranny problem? smells expensive nonetheless
