This is an ACPT shaft, not a DSS brand, so it came with brand new ends. U-joints are still good and I want to say it's 14 pounds?

Pretty firm considering im covering shipping which will be over 40 bucks most likely due to box size. These shafts are 1200 new.

Stock driveshaft is about 32 pounds with the carrier bearing etc, most Aluminum shafts are about 18 pounds, these Carbon shafts are 13-14 pounds. I am located in northern VA fairly close to DC.

it's also not just about the weight. The CF shafts function as better vibration dampers than aluminum shafts. So not only are they lighter, but also you are less likely to get some type of re-occurring resonance at specific speeds.

I have a CF one and it's been great.

Same concept, DS shop didnt have a shaft out for the g35 when i bought the Acpt shaft. Even if they did I probably still wouldve gone with Acpt unless there was a huge price difference. Acpt supplies to military and aerospace companies as well so their knowledge on composites are top notch.

They are 900+ shipping, and its a driveshaft shop shaft, not an ACPT shaft. ACPT's are considered the best on the market and retail for 1200. This shaft is still priced under the DSS shaft though, and the price is or best reasonable offer.
