G35 engine swap

My g35 has had a persistent oil leak since i bought it. Unfortunately I've narrowed it down to the piston rings after replacing valve cover gaskets, and the pcv valve. There are no leaks from the top or bottom and only smokes at high revs. I am moving soon and wondering if its okay to still drive while adding oil. I've done some research on here and people recommended 5w-40 and 10w-40, I'm currently using 5w-30 being up in Connecticut. Car has just hit 140k. Pcv valve fixed most of the oil leak issues, besides high rev. I'm wondering of a long 700 mile trip will be bad for the engine. I would say it eats about 2-3 quarts per 3.5k oil changes. Kind of annoying..., but I've kept it topped off since 128k and it hasn't performed any worse. Since babying it(not pushing 5-7k) shifts it eats around 2 quarts. ,Also, the camber on the rear left wheel won't move and I need new front tie rods. Any suggestions for aftermarket control arms and tie rods? I really want to swap the engine eventually. I'm pretty sure this engine could hit 180k or more if I baby it. Unless someone has more experience. I don't think it's gonna die anytime soon, but what do I know? 😆 it idles fine and pulls. Coolant stays the same, oil just goes down.

Just keep adding oil and reduce your spark plug interval to probably 30k-50k (pull and inspect at 30k).

It'll be fine, my engine was drinking at LEAST that much oil before I pulled it apart and I was hard on it.

Check oil level weekly, top off as needed. AutoX weekends I was using 1/4 qt PER WEEK with only about 300 miles driven.
