5at with welded 3.69 rear open diff from g37/370z

I have a 03 G35 with a DE mated to a 5at from factory the rear end in the car I believe is a stock 3.3 open diff I was thinking of making 2 upgrades and was wondering if any has this set up or thought about it. Thinking of getting a 3.69 open rear diff from a g37/370z weld some plates in there and throw that in with a nice transgo shift kit upgrade for the auto trans in the car for much crisper quicker shifts I want a good amount of low and mid range in 1st and 2nd gear for drift events. Yes I know manual is better for drift events being able to clutch kick but with the right hydro or cable hand brake setup and a good angle kit I know itll do great for a couple events a year.
