Duralast Timing Gear Chain Kiti #76200 Retails for $528. Opened only for the pictures to show all components. $250+ shipping




Gaskets: Rear main seal set Fel-Pro BS 40631, Timing Cover seal set Fel-Pro TCS 45997, Manifold Set Fel-Pro MS 96454-1, Oil Pan set too. $30 for all of them +shipping.

Yeah, after doing the shocks and clutch, I figured I was in it for the long haul, and would do the timing chain sometime in the summer since I would be approaching 200,000 miles... still early.

But the unscheduled head gasket thing meant I couldn't choose the downtime and, well, that was it.

I hear that. My quick engine swap coupe has turned into 2 year rebuild / installation. Not sure if it’ll all be worth it when done. Still have some chassis upgrades to do too.

Oh, it'll be worth it. It just won't be time and cost efficient!

The timing kit is still available. Will probably take it to eBay soon though.
