Hi Everybody,

I haven't been on here much but I always know that I could come here for help. This place has been great to me, now here is my problem.

I went to start my car about a week ago and noticed that my VDC off light was on, my check engine light and another light came on, forgot what it was. I was like, what the hell! I noticed that the car sounded different. I turned off my car thinking that it was just maybe a little malfunction, I started the car again and only the check engine light came on. I drove to work and noticed a big differences in ride quality. I didn't drive my car the night before either. The car acceleration felt different, the ride wasn't as smoove as my first 13,000 miles. I was concerned and called the dealership to check in my car the same day. I picked up my car the next day, they stated that there were two error codes, which they both fixed. They ended up replacing the throttle body. They checked on my brakes and said it was fine. When I drove off I still noticed that it wasn't normal. Seem like they didn't fix anything really. The light is now turned off but the ride quality really sucked. I hear grinding when I brake now, its not as smoove as it use to be. The car shakes at times when accelerating in first gear.

What should I do? The dealership told me that there has been a known transmission issue with the 05 6MT for about 6 months now, is this true? How could the car act so different in just a matter of 1 day? The last night I was driving it, it was smoove all the way home. So what gives? The head tech a test drive with me but he wasn't really trying to listen to me since he was the expert and I wasn't. He told me that I needed new tires, but I really don't want to spend any sort of money knowing that the main problem won't be fix. I know its gots to be more then the tires though. Please help, thanks.
