Does your TCS work at all?

Because of all of my messing around trying to empirically determine how the VDC/TCS/EBLSD/ABS systems are supposed to work, I've finally decided that my TCS does not now nor has it ever worked on my G.

I first mentioned this last winter when we had a snow which indicated that the TCS did not work in a "sigma nu" situation. (Left wheels on snow, right wheels on dry pavement, left rear wheel spins freely while right rear wheel is just along for the ride.)

With all of the rain we've been having it has been very easy to prove to myself, many times, that the TCS does not work in any straight line loss of traction.

I say "straight line loss of traction" because if I lose traction on a curve due to a potential "oversteer" situation, the "EBLSD" kicks in to keep the rear end of the G under control.

With the VDC "On" and a nice wet road, I can break both rear tires loose from a standing start.

Both rear wheels will be spinning. The "Slip" light does not come on. No throttle/gas cut. No pulsing of the ABS system.

I have to balance the G with minor steering inputs in order to keep the rear end at my six.

I even have to shift up into the next gear because I get too close to the rev limiter. I.E. Speedo showing 45+ mph while my G is just barely creeping along.

Has anyone else come to this conclusion or do I need to talk to my Infiniti Service Manager about a possible dysfunctional VDC/TCS/EBLSD/ABS system?
