If so, then I guess I might just wait till I buy the LSD, then I put the new pumpkin on my stupid 5AT !

Thanks for clarifying !
i think i was in the same position you are in. i was quoted like something around 2000 for the quaife and having it installed on my car and i had an open differential too. I decided against the nismo lsd because of the complaints some ppl had about the 'pop' they would get when turning at low speeds. I ended up just doing a vlsd 3.3 FD swap for 550, purchased the entire rear end for 450 and had it replaced for around 100.

Sorry for being a newbie again, but why would you purchase the entire rear-end, when you have already bought the vlsd 3.3FD pumpkin for 550?
It makes me doubt if a 3.53FD pumpkin from a 6mt Z / G coupe will bolt right on to my G sedan..

pleae clarify =)

and with regards to the LSD, I am actually balancing off between track ; money and daily driving experience.. I really would not want to spend 2k on parts and labour if I only track a few times in one year

Thanks for the input guys

i meant total cost was 550, where 450 was for the pumpkin and 100 was for labor
