Auto to Manual swap question...

What all is needed to do this, and has anyone done it before?? The dealership I work for got this in on trade and I picked it up quick. The only down side is the manual tranny. I have been looking into swapping in the manual tranny but couldnt find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you'd be better off in the end just selling it and pickin up a 6mt. after all the pain and agony of the swap and the time, and the money... not worth it IMO.

^ Without a doubt. You'd probably be better off picking up an '06 as well.

What's really involved? Off the top of my head:

New ECU
Clutch master and slave cylinder and tubing
6MT
clutch
clutch safety interlock
Different tranny mount
clutch and brake pedal assembly

All in all, I'd say about $3-4K in used parts and about $2-3K in labor.

Sell your car and buy a 6MT.
