VQ35DE engine & CD009 Transmission, Cheap must go
Hey guys,
I have a VQ35DE engine and a CD009 transmission that I would like to get rid of. They have been sitting at the shop just collecting dust. I had a buyer a long time ago but he never picked it up and I have yet to put it up for sale..
The engine is a complete LONG BLOCK. had about 95k miles and it ran fine. The whole engine is complete which means the timing covers, AC, etc will be included. The only thing that will not will be the plenum and intake.
It is a great package if you want to rebuild it for boost or throw it in the way it is.
The CD009 transmission has about 45-50K miles. I had it replaced under warranty at nissan and it runs smooth.
PRICE:
engine - 650$
cd009 - 675
Id prefer these to be picked up but I will have the shop ship them at buyers expense.
Here is a picture of the engine. I will snap some pictures when i get to the shop, but who hasn't seen a VQ before? Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

What's the true price? $350 or $650 for the engine? Also, since I am not an expert at these things... is this a simple drop in?
Lastly and probably most importantly will it work on and 04 G35x (sedan). I know the ad says 2003-7 coupe but just wanted to confirm.
I am in Westchester as well so pick up won't be a problem. Better yet would the shop be able to replace the engine for me (as long as it is compatible)? Then I can just bring my car and bada bing bada boom

Can't I use my existing transmission with the new engine? I thought the two items were mutually exclusive?

Just opened a thread in the 2003-06 Sedan section about compatibility and the first two responses said that I shouldn't have a problem. I will wait for a couple more responses but assuming that is true what do you think about the 2nd part of my question?
You said the engine is at a shop, then can they just replace the engine for me? Or at least give me a quote on how much it will be?
Where in Westchester are you? I am in Yonkers
