Built motor - great deal $
Upgrading my motor at Dynosty with a brand new long block. Old built Forged S1 9:1 compression motor is now for sale. Great motor for 600 whp. 25k miles on motor with Eagle rods, Cosworth bearings, Arias ED pistons, L19 studs, HKS headgasket, JWT S2 cams and valve springs, stock valves.
The motor is running fine and making power, a compression test 3 months ago was all around 132 but this is where it stands as of December:
Compression test: (cold,wot,w/plugs,1-6:139,132,112,138,130,128)
#3 spark plug has oil/buildup
Also, see attached. There is evidence of fuel in the oil - maybe washing out cylinder 3 and pretty clear evidence of piston wear (never seen before on UOA). Bearing wear looks excellent. Might have had a fuel injector issue for the past couple months. Not required but the motor will require a rebuild to get it back perfect with re-bore of cylinders, new matching pistons and new HG. Rods, L19 studs, crank, cams, springs should all be fine. I am uncertain if we experienced spark blow out on cylinder three causing the fluctuating power at high rpms or if that is completely unrelated. I have asked Hal to swap out the injectors or get them tested before putting in the new motor.
Motor will still be a great deal as a core. It is also running perfectly fine and for a 500 whp car, might be just fine for a good while with a solid tune before there is any significant loss of power.
PM me with any questions and/or offers. Asking $2k obo. + shipping via crate directly from Dynosty.
PS. Ignore the turbo kit components on there - that doesn't come with the motor!

5AT is a fully built stage 3 GTM transmission, with 11 x 11 x 1.5" cooler on there.
Dyno from 3 months ago on this motor.
Even if FI is not your thing, put in high compression pistons and you'll have a great NA motor at a fraction of the usual cost.

Well that sale fell through - moving on to others who have PM'd. As of this moment, still available!!!
There have been some requests to disassemble and part out the motor. I will consider - feel free to PM me with exactly what parts you are interested in. If I get most of them spoken for, I will pay for disassembly.
