Block still available? If so is it stock bore size, and what happened to it to cause it to be parted?

 

yes. piston rings didnt seal so i had a lot of blow by. I bought another motor and built it while i drove with the car smoking out the exhaust.. one bearing ended up going out . crank has some scoring on the one journal

Any thoughts on why the rings didn't seal? Makes me curious.

 

I was told to baby the engine for the first 3,000 miles. After the 3000 miles I went on a dyno to get tuned. Rings blew on the dyno ... I learned you should not baby a new engine or new rings or else the rings won't seal
