Looking for mild Cams

Hey guys I actually have an 02 I35 and I am looking for cams that are mild enough (enough overlap) that I can keep close to stock idle charachteristics. This is a luxury car afterall and I dont want it to idle and sputter like a cammed out camaro. The only cams people seem to have on maxima.org are the knockoff JWT cams and I saw a video of a maxima idling with those cams and they weren't idling that well. My buddys camaro with .590 lift idled better than that maxima in the video.

Price at this point doesnt really matter, but over $1,500 I couldent justify while in any mind set.

Let me know,
Thanks

first of all.. what year is your car? and is it a 6MT.. what RPM range are you looking for power? and how far are you williing to go.. and if you're even thinking about anything thats going to effect IDLE i suggest getting a ECU such as the HKS F-Con Pro or UTec all with complete harnesses or the very least a greddy U.. also are you planning to rebuild the head - springs? valves? shims?

I think you're better off buying something else. By the time it's all said and done, those cams will have cost you about $2200-2400 with labor. I also wouldn't trust a shop or even most dealerships to do the job right (leaks at the timing chain cover, vacuum leaks). Gain wise, you're looking at maybe 10-15whp at the upper spectrum of the powerband while trading low and midrange punch. In the end, you have a slower car from 0-70mph and a faster one above 80mph. In the 1/4 mile, you'll most likely be slower.
