Leaking/burning Oil .just Put In 4 Quarts Tonite!
During the past 2 days i have noticed a burning smell from the car but i did not give it much thought but today while driving i noticed that the OIL light went on and off twice. I got out, popped the hood and noticed it was very low on oil so i got 2 quarts of M1 synthetic and kept driving. I noticed it began to smell again so i stopped, wiated about 2 minutes and backed up about a car length and noticed i was leaking lots of oil. I checked it again and it was very low so i put in 2 more quarts. Im afraid of what im gonna find tomorow morning.I dont know what is going on, my car has only 15k miles in it and i do not abuse it at all. Im going in on monday for the 15k mile service and im going to let them know. I also read in some threads that others have had this problem. Anyway, I wanted to know what you guys think might be the problem?
-My last oil change was 2000 miles ago, and this just started to happen.
-Could it be that something got loose and it began to leak?
sorry for the long thread but im freaking out!

Get it checked out b4 driving it again, and as soon as it's driveable, have the dealer look at it.

Could be a "double gasket" situation. If you took it to a kwiklube place, sometimes they dont realize that the gasket on the previous oil filter can stick to the block. Then they just spin the new one on top of the old one. Sometimes it seals enough not to leak in the beginning, then it just blows later on. Dont drive the car. Its under warantee, so use the roadside assistance # and they will come deal with it.
