The LS series is one of the best modern engines being built right now. Let me put it to you this way. One cam, no VTC gadgetry, no turbos or SC and the thing stills puts out TONS of power. All in a package thinner than a VQ35 and most likely shorter (height-wise). And I'll bet it's not that heavier.

somebody extract the tumor that is the "debate" between the superiority of american/japanese cars from a thread about swapping a rb into a g35 coupe.
unless the guy isn't going to bother updating this anymore. In which case, we can retitle this thread to "closed minded 'car enthusiasts' argue over two widely diverse categories of car types, only to end up where they started: that they are different. duh."
different philosophies of car manufacturing, design, and engineering equals different strengths and weaknesses. it's really not that hard to understand. The only way to transcend the gaps is to spend tons of money.
