i have a 05g35 6mt with just a intake for now lol
i still havent decide either turbo or all motor..
i use to be a honda fan so i don know anything about vq35 lol so i just wanna hear some opinions about it btw i lost to stock 06 350z (damn!!)
it was my friends 350z and he was talking **** about ma G!!! ppl say that unless u have some money turbo is not possible for da G so headers and exhaust and cams will do good against most ppl in da street but most i heard from all motor is 350whp and that is fully built motor anyeayz i have to beat him b4 da school year is done so plzzzzz help

 

i have a 06 6mt stock and i beat my friends 350z by at least 1 car.
He drives a 04 6 speed also.He has intake,exhaust,clutch,flywheel,and a short throw shifter.
Guess it comes down to the driver mostly.!!

hmm... the '04 you beat had a sh!tty driver then. z's are faster hands down. MT vs. MT, z should win all the time, but of couse it's up to the drivers. sounds like ur still young. grow up, earn some $ and build->turbo/sc ur car. you'll be set

 

Thats definately not true.

Yeah the Z is faster because its ligher... but out of 10 tries, stock for stock, with a good G driver, you should be able to get maybe 4 wins with him taking the rest of the 6 wins.

You definately dont need an SC or TT to beat a Z. Well not unless you wanna leave him a 1/2 mile behind you.

Some bolt-ons should be good enough for you.

 

chilll z is not alwayz faster its lighter but its kinda on the driver
i raced that guy 3 times first he missed gear second race, he got me and third supposly i cheated by starting faster so w/e but at da second run i knew that he was faster than iam anywayz i just want some opinions for da next part that i should get o and if u dont know da diff between mrev and revup than don talk

i think you should stop talking period since your posts are so unintelligble.

the Z IS always faster. only the driver can make the difference. boltons don't do more for the G than the Z, so it's not like similarly equipped Z's are slower than G's.

Please tell me what the difference between MREV and REVUP is?

Also, the 03-04 Z's are quicker then the stock 05-06 off the line

 

REVUP is faster than MREV i have 05 g35 6mt but i never really raced MREV off the line so i don know aobut that

What's going on in here.

Okay, to set the record straight. The RevUp engine is the engine which comes with the '05 to '06 equipped with the 6MT. The MREV is the lower collector from the non RevUp engine, which has been modified by Motordyne Engineering. The MREV was the first modified lower collector by Motordyne. This lower collector came in combination with a plenum spacer. Since then, Motordyne has offered the MREV+, also in combination with a plenum spacer. Now, Motordyne is offereing the new MREV2, which is sold by itself. The plenum spacer is optional and is sold separately.
