Oil analysis?

Does anybody here have a maintenance program setup where you do an oil analysis @ each oil change?

I am going to do this due to the minimal costs involved. I know these can be useful as long as you know what to look for.

For those who do them, which lab do you use and why? Do you know somebody there? I am hoping to find the right lab for my 6mt. The lab my employer uses only does analysis for industrial diesel engines.

Any help, advice, input is appreciated here. Thanks

The cost is $20 and they send out free kits so you can send the oil to them by USPS mail.

+1 I have used blackstone on several occasions. They usually get results back within 2 days. They also have a huge database of other VQ engines with various oils, so you can see how your engine wear compares. I just wanted to verify I could go 10000 miles on the M1 extended performance without causing problems.
