Curb weight vs. actual weight

Has anyone actually weighed their G35. If so, please provide the number and the approximate amount of gas as well as if it was a Sedan or Coupe, auto or manual transmission.

Infiniti's website specs the curb weights as follows;

G35 Sedan - Auto Trans, 3369lbs - Manual Trans, 3398lbs.

G35 Coupe - Auto Trans, 3422lbs - Manual Trans, 3435lbs.

All weights from Infiniti website - all cars with leather interior.

Does anyone know what curb weight includes? Is it wet, ie. all fluid levels normal and 20 gallons of gas?

Thanks in advance,

DaveO

Re: Curb weight vs. actual weight

curb weight: Noun, The weight of a fueled automobile with standard equipment but without cargo or passengers.

So, it's probably the weight of the most basic package with that transmission. For example, the 5AT Sedan is probably the cloth version, no premium/nav/sunroof/etc included. The 6MT Sedan probably weighs more, because it's forced to include leather seats, the sport suspension with heavier rims, etc.

In the October 2003 issue, Car & Driver's G35 6MT sedan was listed with a curb weight of 3526 lbs. That car had pretty much every option except for possibly the Winter Package (they mention that the car had Goodyear Eagle GS-D tires -- unless it was a MY04 with summer tires).
