i own a 03' 6mt laser red coupe.... i love this car to death... but anyways.. i have a tachometer that i bought for it and i had it put in a few weeks ago. to make a long story short the tach isnt readin correctly. when i step on the gas it jumps from the zero position to the redline position. i took it back to the guy who hooked it up. and he has tried a couple diff. things to fix it. in the end... he called autometer ( the maker of the tach) and they dont have much more information to give me. they said that there isnt much info on the g35. so i turn to u guys as my savior. i didnt pay all this money for this tach to act the hell up on me...Please, if u have any suggestions, im open ears, and i will take it back to the shop with ur ideas.
sorry if i sound pissed off, but i really am. i want to get this thing working before i put it away for the winter.

how did you guys hook it up? Did you try tapping into the stock tach wires?

we followed the directions from autometer. and the guy who hooked it up said he wasnt getting a positive tach read from the wired that it described....
