Sometimes when I put the car in drive or reverse I notice there is a chirping fan noise coming from the engine bay...it either goes away or is much quieter when the car is in park or neutral...any ideas on this?

Also sometimes when I start the car (about 1 out of every 10 times) once the engine turns over I hear a weird chatter/light grind that just lasts a second or less and goes away. Anyone have any ideas on this one too??
