Any reason why you guys went with caskyline's kit and not Gord's?

What were the color options?

Everyone has Gord's it seems, but I don't want to have to wait for him to recieve my money through snail mail.

Im a Statistic & Fact type of person.

If it "feels" faster or more responsive... it might just be my head playing tricks with me.

As much as I want to believe the wires help out performance wise, the only way Ill believe it is if I dyno, install, then dyno immediately [so change of temperature or humidity isnt an issue].

Im not stating that they dont do what they're suppose to do. Im just an over exagerated type of person.

[Same scenario; If a supercharger feels faster, it's not faster unless 1/4 mile times or dynos prove it . Maybe im over exagerating, but numbers, when done in the right circumstances, dont lie. Contrary, my mind always lies to me ]

i admit that it merele "feels" more responsive to me...and it could be in my head...

but my uncle drove my car with and without the wires in there (without any knowledge of that) and told me it felt much more responsive the second time he drove it.

dynos wont tell you shiet...these arent suppose to provide more power...

anyway, that seems to be the best answer youll get. it "feels" more responsive...

if youre 5at, do it. if youre 6mt...eh..

True...

Dyno's arent gonna prove what the wire's do to your car.

But that's my main concern.

How do we know they actually work?

There seems to be no statistics to prove it.

Ahh what the hell, im 6MT, so I shouldnt care.

[That does sound a bit selfish ]

lol

well, look at it this way, if it did work your gonna get 1hp IF that. if it doesnt work, atleast you know youll never have a problem with a bad ground. im gonna get it on my 6mt not for hp but for all the future mods. that are gonna pull some amperage.

Not entirely true. Interestingly, for all other vehicles other than for the G35 (We have Custom and Performance Systems for a wide variety of vehicles), most of the Systems have been installed into Manual Transmission equipped cars. The improvements in throttle response and smoothness are consistent, and noticeable, particularly in certain vehicles like the Honda Civic where the users report that the car's acceleration is much improved, and in the WRX and MazdaSpeed Miata where the car pulls much harder prior to turbo spool-up (feels like less lag). I have a current System being developed for a MT equipped, modded turbo Eclipse that looks very promising.

I have a lot of G35 owners with 6MTs that have provided feedback as well. I think that because the 5AT adds the benefits of improved shifting, that they get a double whammy of improvements for minimal cost over the 6MT Systems.

Sorry to high jack this thread, but I wanted to clear up the 5AT/6MT thing.
