Exhaust Question!

Hi guys, I'm soon gonna do a custom exhaust from cat_back and its gonna be Magnaflow (probably not the kit for our G, and because it sounds pretty good/deep on my friends S4). Right now I'm running on stock from front to back, so the question is how big the pipe should I go for w/o loosing any power? Gain hp or not is not really matter, but if it gains few ponies after then even better.

So what are you trying to accomplish? Just some more sound, not worried about performance gain, as long as there is no loss?

What kind of sound do you like? Rice, trumpet? Low and mean?

How much are you budgeting to spend?

I've seen this post before................?

I have a Magnaflow system and it sounds good....not loud. You can't
compare how it sounds on another car, that's like apples and oranges.
Magnaflow spends many hours designing the systems for each car, first the
maximum H.P. then the sound is worked out. Go to the web site and listen
to the sound clip for the G......www.magnaflow.com. It's also nice to know
they warranty their systems for as long as you own your car.

FastIntentions uses Magnaflow mufflers and X-pipe if I'm not mistaken (I just installed this and I think that's what it said on those parts). And it does sound nice and deep...
