grounding kit?

i know this post will move but here goes:

hey guys, question....i installed 7 wire grounding kit, (didn't do the 7th wire yet) but i did noticed shifts were smoother...but idle was about 200 or so....is that normal? also i used one of the intake bolts for the front where i had about 4 ground wires...regular bolt would not reach...
thanks guys... Oh yeah by the way it's an auto...

Shifts will be smoother, starting easier, and idle smoother too. There's even a few ponies to boot.... BTW - are you sure it's idling at only 200? You sure that's not 700?
The 4 wires you have all together can be split at the front of the timing cover to better fit and use the existing bolts.
Look in the Grounding Thread at the top of this forum for more information. It shows all the connections points and options.

Yeah.. look at your idle again. That first tick mark is 500, not 100. There's not much room between 0 and 500. If you were really idling at 200, "smooth" is not the word you'd be using to describe it.

I also have a grounding kit on my AT G.... but at times at idle it seems alittle rough. Before install I noticed that at times it was rough but hoped it would be remedied by the grounding kit. I have not done the ECU reset yet..
Any ideas why this would be?? I use 92 octane (premium) gas from Shell... if that helps any...
