After installed MD 5/16" copper spacer

I turned on my engine, and press the gas 5-6 times to hear how the idle and engine sound. But wtf??! I saw some smoke coming out of under throtlle body!
I think I did it correctly, but why is freaking smoke coming out of the engine?
I smell no burning, just some smokes.
I don't know why, maybe I forgot to connect one of the hose?
or maybe I put little much of motor oil on the aramid gasket?
I need you guys' help!!!

If you happen to have any oil or grease on your Copper Spacer, this may be the possible reason you see smoke. After a while, it should just burn right off !
I've seen this happen many times when people install headers.

did you plug the coolant hose in right? otherwise, it's probably just some leftover fluid burning off.

you might just need to add freon, go to strauss or autozone and buy a can of it, happened to me on a few of my older cars, if its just a slow leak you'll be fine for the summer....worst come to worst, have a mech. try and see if theres a leak, if its your compressor thats going to cost $$

I found the reason why the heater doesn't come out.
when I installed spacer, I might leak some amount of engine coolant fluid.
I think that is why the A/C doesn't heat the air or cool.

So, here's the question please.
which engine coolant fluid do I need?
and where does the engine coolant tank located?
Please I need your help!

OK, so you don't know how the heater works.

If you are getting fan and air in the car, but not heat, you may have hooked up the ISO Thermal portion wrong, if indeed this just started after your install. Is your car getting hotter than normal as well?

Do you get any air from the vents when you turn the system on?

Rick

first of all, thanks for keep helping me.
What do you mean by hooking Iso thermal portion wrong?
you mean iso thermal gasket or 5/16" spacer?
and I don't get the hot nor cold air from the fan.

To tell you the truth, I think I installed everything correctly, however, once I forgot to connect the hose which directly under (below) the throtle body. So, there was leaking from that hose pretty much.
I think this would be the problem, but can you guess what the problem is?

If you are in the car and turn on the AC - what happens? Do you get air from the vents or not? If you force it to heat, do you still get air and is it hot/warm? Also, is your car completely warmed up when you do this?

Hot coolant is circulated in the system and the AC fans blow over another very small radiator.. That heated air is used to heat the car...so if you have capped of the flow somehow, you would not get much heated air at all.

Have you done anything else new to the car?

Rick

AFAIK just add 50/50 mix of antifreeze to the resevoir tank, and your heat should work.
