I think it would be VERY helpful to put up a few sections for performance products to keep down reposts. I think organizing some valuable info on the following topics with sections including where to buy, dyno statistics, pros/cons would be a really good addition to the forum:

1. Cold Air Intakes
2. Short Ram Air Intakes (Stillen, K&N, etc.)
3. Z Tube
4. Exhaust Systems
5. Crawford Plenum
6. Pulleys
7. Technosquare ECU
8. Forced Induction - Superchargers
9. Forced induction - Turbochargers
10. Forced induction - Nitrous Oxide
11. LSD (Limited Slip Differentials)
12. Brake Upgrades (Pads and Big Brake Kits)

I noticed there are faq sections for the grounding kits, and ecu reset already. Some sort of additional/new faq's would be great for these topics.

We thought about it, but came down to having too many Boards and think it would clutter the screen up. Don't know about you but even I sometimes find it hard to scrool down to see all the Boards we have now.[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Can the search feature on this site be changed to improve it? And more important, if it can, would the person that can do the changes be willing to spend the time to make it happen?

I only ask, because the search feature here does not allow one to cut down the resulting hits that come up. Any time I've tried to search for something here I have to wade past untold amounts of totally unrelated posts, making it really painfull to find past info on this site. Anyway it's mute if it can't be upgraded or no one wants to do it.

Things to change:
enable searchs to be run on username's
enable searchs to bring up threads or individual posts
enable searchs to be run that do NOT bring up info contained in one's sig (man, this one would really help).

Don't remember but if you click on a user's name. Do you get a button that says 'View All User's Posts"?

Can't you do a search based on username already?

Yes bro. When you go into Search, click on Search options to reveal options including Username.

Also as Merlin said, if you click on a name and go to the bottom of the page, you'll see "Show all User's posts".

Yes, but that makes is no different than clicking on a usernames profile and wading,...........again past untold pages of posts and if someone here has posted allot, well you know. What we still need is the ability to type something in the search field and then type in a seperate field a person's username. Because if I type in Cusco G35sedan and select by username it will come back as no matches. And if you search by phrase it will bring up any post from anyone that has Cusco in their sig. The same search run on my350z.com yielded 14 posts that I had done, the search capibilities on their site would be awesome to strive to (I know I know, different software,.......sigh). Thanks Merlin for looking into it.

I know Kyle and Yuichi are looking at switching us over to a new server soon and update the software, hopefully we can accomodate and have better searches etc.
