Exclamation Quick Question

I have an 06x sedan ive had it from 8 months today my engine service soon light came on.. i thought it was on because i was over the miles on the oil change so i went and got an oil change.....
the light is still on..
wat does that mean?
did any have this problem before?
wat can it be?

Where did you get your oil changed and have you checked your oil levels? Otherwise the light is on for something other than oil if the oil change did not help...go to the dealer as noted in your manual.

ye i read the manual
it say tighted the gas cap and contact dealer
but by the time they give an app. i need to know if this is serious or not
i might just take it to some random mechanice to run a compure scan
