Apexi Fuel Air Controller on Sdn
Hey, just wondering if it was feasable or even a good idea to put one of these guys on my sedan. I good friend if mine has a descently hooked up IS, and he just added one of these bad guys and says that he notices a pretty significant gain in horse and torque... if anyone who is farmiliar with this could help me i would be thankfull.

I found the Apexi SAFC II to be excellent tuning piggy back since I've gained about 20whp and 18wtq on my s/c Accord setting A/F ratio just a tad below 13.
However couple things to consider:
1. Its not gonna work if you plan on getting different cams in the future.
2. You need to have basic mods (plenum/i/h/e/ECU) to see the difference since SAFC II will allow you to lean it out a little to see better gain.
3. Need to find a good tuner who will set Low/High Throttle % in RPM increments.
Overall I was happy. By the way I will be selling this unit in about 2 weeks since I swap internals on my s/c Accord and getting new cams with either Apexi VAFC or Greddy E-Manage since I need to raise my VTEC engagement point. If you interested in this unit send PM(I've had it on for about less then 2 month) you can save some $$$.

Re: Apexi Fuel Air Controller on Sdn
Isn't the ECU just going to tune out the changes you make with the SAFC? I thought that was the problem with most mods on the Z33/V35 VQ ECU.

Re: Apexi Fuel Air Controller on Sdn
I was managed to bypass ECU restrictions on Accord which is pain in the a$$ and tune it successfully. Im pretty sure G35 ECU with a reflash plus SAFC II would be benefitial even more, however cant say it 100% since I've never done personnaly this on my G.
