Question Bogging down SOUND after new short block install

During acceleration in 2nd through 6th gear the car sounds like it’s bogging down, as if I’m trying to accelerate from low RMPs in the high gear. Similar sound that you would get if you tried to floor it in 4th while at about 2K RPM. The sound can be heard between 2.5K and 4K RPM while accelerating. It only lasts for a brief second but it’s audible enough for anyone to hear.

Had my dealer diagnose and acknowledge the problem but unable to pinpoint what’s causing it. I’m coming back in about 3K miles, my next scheduled service, to see if the problem magically disappears or if they can do another check.

            Any suggestions?

p.s. just venting here, but there go my turbo plans, exhaust, intake and just about everything else… I’m not even sure I want to drop the damn thing on new wheels anymore! Arrgh!!!

wow that stinks but as long as the deal knows about this and is willing to fix then you are in the right place.

Nope, no engine light, everything looks and works like brand new, except for the sound.

Damn that sucks at only 8k. I know for me personally, I'd be listening to everything after the install and even hear things that weren't there. Either way any concern you have just bring it back to the dealership and let them handle it. Hopefully its nothing.

            GOod luck
