Question on Installing Bung!!!

Ok.. I picked up LC-1 from Innovate to use with my Utec.. And I went to the muffler shop to get it installed.. And I told them it has to be before the CAT and above the 3/9 o'clock.. They put my car up on the lift and looked at it with me.. And they were telling me they have to take the CAT off from the car and install it cause there is no room.. And they quoted me 150 dollars.. Is that resonable price? How much did you pay to get it installed? Is there any other way to install em?? Thanks..

K, I just went through the exact same thing today, except I was quoted $50 bucks (before they new how difficult it was to get at). I am curious where others have mounted them.

Can it be fitted on the cat? (right at the beginning) or does it have to go on the manifold? It would be easy on the cat, as it is more easily removed to complete the install.

Any thoughts?

They do need to remove the cat to do it right. I only paid a shop $65 to do my first one.
