MREV2 or 5/16 Spacer?

I would like to know which one to get for my AT Sedan. Motordyne said you can use only the MRev2 for an auto and get more horsepower than the spacer.

Also which spacer should I get, the copper or the isothermal one.

If it snows where you live get the copper. Even if it snows once a year better safe than sorry, if it doesn't you can go with just the ISO thermal.

I BELIEVE the 06 Sedan is a REV-UP engine just like ours in the coupes(someone correct me if i'm wrong on that) so you can actually use BOTH the Mrev2 AND the spacer and get more power/nicer sound out of her.

Your car is an AT, you don't need the MREV, just get the spacer. The MREV is made for the rev-up motor which came on 05/06 6MT sedans and 05-07 6MT coupes.

Alright, I'm going to ask a total noob question (just got my G last month), but what exactly is the spacer referring to and what does it do? Thanks!

This thread from my350z might help. I read through it last year (but it has been a while) when the MREV2 came out. My conclusion was that they were about equal and that it wasn't worth switching out my spacer for the MREV2. Since you have neither, maybe it comes down to whichever is cheapest.

I cannot do both on an AT unless I get a fuel management sytem to keep the car from running lean.

who told you that? you don't need fuel managemet. just do all the ecu resets. I have both and runnin fine. It shouldn't matter that much if you have AT or MT. call motordyne.

You are misinformed my friend, its okay for you because you have a revup motor, mrev2 and a spacer on the nonrevup engines have shown issues with running lean by multiple sources.

yeah I didn't notice that you have an AT, that's definitely not a revup motor and you cannot run both.

interesting. i'll have to read up on the MREV2 vs. non-revup lower collector differences again. can never seem to find a definitive answer. good luck op.

MREV2 is a non revup collector... just slightly modified.

What will the spacer or MREV2 or the combination do for the G35X?
