Is a 400-500 hp all motor G35 possible?

I didn't see where the pulled the 354 hp rating from. I think it's at the motor as the only other hp reference was for the stock engine rated at 298hp. Which is again at the engine. But I only skimmed the article. I found the info below interesting though.
It's cool to see what they can do for on these engines but I doubt these particular engines are that streetable or even stand a chance at passing any type of sniffer.

A 3.5 liter V6 may sound like it's a relatively large sized engine, but in reality, it is 30 cm shorter than the RB26. The VQ engine was 150 kg (330lbs) lighter and was a setup that gave the RB26 a run for its money in regards to handling and response. Air conditioning and a full car stereo system were cleanly installed.

not a VQ35 though. Even with the biggest stroker kit reving to 8000 rpms with big cams, it's not possible
if you're talking about crank hp though and not whp, then yeah low 400's is probably possible with an extreme engine build

take the Corvette for example..the 2007 model crank out 400hp but it's a 6 liters V8.the Z06 model reach 500hp mark but it take 7 liters big V8... now compare to the VQ's 3.5 liters V6.
so like others said almost impossible,if it is..it would take a fotune to redone a whole lot to the point it become "not worth it"

you guys crack me up - just because it's never been done before---> that makes it impossible? says who? thankfuly - there were posts that "dared" to differ....GO ALL MOTOR! go for it - i think a 12sec. all motor ( full interior G35 350 ) is much more impressive than a 12sec. turbo'd car! my opinion - james.

I'm not sure what can be done with our 3.5 liter motors but I used to build 2.0 liter 4 cyl Cosworth race engines for formula atlantic open wheel cars and we made about 290 horsepower. Take into account that a 2.0 liter motor that runs 290 hp lasts for 700-1000 miles which was about half of a race season for us. Now it might be possible to get that much power out of the 3.5 liter engines but Im telling you right now, you will probably get the same longevity out of it as we got. We also used to charge 40k for a brand new build with all new parts including a new block, for a rebuild it was about 15k. Look to spend $80,000-$100,000 for 500 hp all motor considering you are the first one to do it and you would most likely have to reengineer 90% of the parts in the motor to handle that kind of stress. Is it worth it?
Think of Formula 1 engines, they are 3.0 liter V10 engines that run at 700 hp but only last about 100-200 miles
