need help

finding a diy for UD pulley sets. i've used the search and old pics don't work and i can't find acomplete thread.

also i need a diy for a plenum spacer, again, can't find any pics with a diy.

doing an underdrive pully yourself is not a good idea. I work in a shop and still needed my service managers help to get the stock drive pulley off and the new one on. It's not fun, leave it to the pro's.

You also need a special tool...if your mechanically inclined, go ahead! Autozone rents tools if you need it.

WHAT TOOL!?!?!?!

also, i have a toyota tech as a buddy, he is usually quite capable but i'm sure he won't have this special tool so i'll need to know what it is.

according to their site it says

• Loosen the crankshaft pulley bolt but do not remove yet.
- Manual Transmission: Have helper put car in 6th gear and hold the brake pedal firmly, the bolt is very tight and will require significant force to loosen.
A ¾” impact gun is the easiest method of removal.

....don't we all have an impact. HAHAHAHA

i bet not, but i do!
