Brakes Engine hitting my chassis?!?!?!??!

So after picking up my G from the autobody after a months wait due to a incident i had in may, I had my lower subframe replaced with a new one. As i left the shop, i decided to go for a test drive before heading home ( 3 blocks away ) to see if everything was in tip top shape. The moment i put my foot in the accelerator, i noticed there was a clicking/backfire sound. Its not coming from my exhaust. I drove my car back into the shop right away and had the mechanic come with me while i drove it around the block agian.

When i drive slowly, 1-1.5k rpm from a stop, its fine. if i move anything faster than 2000 rpm, I hear this rustling/clicking sound from my front right under the gas pedal as if its rubbing agianst something.

I decided to drive it down a hill and hit the gas hard, it was fine.
Then i drove up a hill and it made that sound the whole way and i was barely going 15-20 mph.
basically, everytime the engine is under stress, it tilts back (which is normal) from the power the engine is producing, but mines is going back too far.

We lifted the car up and saw nothing was wrong with my suspension or anything so that was out of the question. The mechanic thinks my dampers are fu*ked and i need to replace them.
Im guessing some part of the engine is touching my chasis?

what do you guys think is the problem. parts needed? price? is it serious?

the best way i can explain it is it sounds like the VDC is going off as i accelerate.
