4 Questions about the 5/16" Spacer + Mrev2

Hi,

I was doing some research on the forums and concluded that the best mod(s), bang for buck would be the 5/16" spacer and mrev2 on a rev up engine. I'm considering taking the approx $700 plunge and buy and install them myself but I have a few questions about the mods.

1. Are the mods hard to install?
2. Do the mods void warranty since I have a 07 coupe with about 1500 miles on it, I don't want to void the next 68500 miles.
3. Do the mods reduce the life of the engine or any harmful side effects?
4. Do the mods have any effect on MPG?

Thanks

1. No, simply read Tony's installation sheets a few times and become familiar with the whole process. The 1st time that I installed this set-up, it took me some 2-1/2 hours at a very comfortable pace. Take your time and be sure to use an inch-lb. torque wrench in lieu of a ft.-lb. torque wrench.

2. The said mods will only void your warranty if you make a warranty claim and the warranty manager/dealer determines that a particular mod is the specific cause of a claimed issue.

3. . . . Haven't heard of any problems, yet.

4. Yes, your MPG will go to hell . . . Simply due to the fact that you will be driving a bit more spirited.
