Angry Problem with TEST PIPES???HELP?

i have already done a search but found no results. ive had test pipes on for the past 6 months but recently me CEL light has came on. I tried ressettiing the ECU but it comes back on. I INSTALLED NON FOULERS when i installed the new test pipes so i kno that cannot be a suggestion to fix it. i went to my dealership and the mechanic said the code prob P1273 and he cannot touch it under warranty. he wants to charge me $115 per hr to find the prob (he must be ****in crazy if he thinks im gonna say yes). So what are my options, i read the probable causes for this code but from what i understand it only applies to if there are NO non foulers installed but ive had them on since i installed the test pipes??

appreciate the help.

O2 Sensor 1 Bank 1 problem. The O2 could have just failed from changes in conditions [less back pressure].

Since you admitted a felony violation [test pipes] of the Clean Air Act any more info would be aiding and abetting a Federal felony.

Are you kidding me?? There's no aiding and abetting. He's got a code and wants to know what it means and how to fix it. Who says the testpipes are the cause to begin with? He could have a fouled spark plug, bad injector, fuel pump issue - all of these items can lead to this issue as well.

Lets get real here...if that's what your going to post on a thread..why even be here? I can't believe you didn't even go through this speech on the other thread regarding the aftermarket fuel pump, which is also an issue. In fact 95% of this community is all about modding the 'wrong' way.

He was joking Rick. (I think? )

Nova: A code of your description is more likely caused by an exhaust leak at the test pipe/manifold interface.

Check to see if you have any leaks there.
