Throttle Body?????

I was planning on changing my throttle body but i know no one has made a bigger one for our cars but i did hear that you could use a Q45 throttle body which is 90MM. So has anyone tryed this out or heard anything about this? Please help me out. Thanks guys.

Wow i just checked out the throttle body holy crap thats expensive!!! anything else a little less expensive?

yeah i have heard alot of stuff about that. but i hear some ppl say it works and some say no it doesnt so not to sure about that...

If you search there was a lengthy thread about this from a few people who had installed them and tested them on their cars.

huh that is pretty sweet setup i would like to know about the q45 throttle body is there a thread about this if so can some one throw up the link I couldn't find it

thats the thread i was referring to...not about a Q45 TB....but if youre looking to know about TB spacers that might help

a larger throttle body will do nothing on the car stock unless you have an aftermarket tuner and are going fi

Before you waste time and money on TB replacement do some scientific research and measure the WOT resistance of the oem unit...............you will find it to only create 3"- 3.5" water column of resistance to earth's supercharger [14.7 psi].
3" w.c. is 3/27.7 or 0.108 psi or 0.7% resistriction.

The MAF is double [~~7"] this...............from intake valves thru runners, thru plenum thru ducts, thru MAF, thru air filter thru air intake housing the entire system is less than 1.0 psi ~~25" worse case which ~~6%
