engine question

ok so i'm probably gonna pick up a G35 after i graduate from UCI this year as a graduation gift to myself. after reading a few threads i noticed that there is a difference in torque between the 04 and the 06 G. for those who have driven/owned both, is there a real big noticeable difference in daily driving? i want the 06 because of the cosmetic changes and the fact that its a lot newer, so this info will really help my decision.

also, does the 05 spoiler fit in the same stock holes on the 06?

I've test driven an '04 MT and I own an '06 MT, and honestly I couldn't tell any difference haha. The nice thing about the '06 is higher RPM range and better looks, but the '04s still had the brembos.

for the spoiler no

if you like of the 06 sport bumper and sides you could get an 04 and buy them cheap and save a few bucks...

To answer your question no.

I would get the newer one and get a nice BBK since you can't get brembos anymore.
