Help???

In the last week i started having a throttle issue with my car. the vdc and slip light will come on and the car's engine will not rev up. i can floor it but i will still stay at around 1k rpm. i threw a p2135 code. can anyone help? thanks

P2135 will cause the ECU to drop into "Safe" mode. That is why the car won't go. Not a big deal really, you will probably need the dealer to check it out - it is one of three possible items. Here is what the manual has to say about the problem...

thanks for the help. Do you think i can wait going to the dealer if it doesn't occur too often or never again, i have some mods on the car i feel might void my warranty. thanks again

Good find and yep its gonna need a new throttle body.

It is normal diagnostic procedure to clear a code to see if it comes back. Throwing a random code is common although if it happens more than about once a year something is wrong. So, if you clear the code and it doesn't come back, your problem have not have been "real" in the first place. If it comes back again, you need to get it fixed before cascades into something bigger.
