how long has your battery lasted ?

I have had my car for 4 years 9 months and the battery finally has gotten weak . Last two times I have tried to start it it would barely turn over . It has been pretty cold and the first time it didnt start , it had been a good month since I started it .

Any 03's in cold climates that thier battery's are still good ????

I just ordered a new battery today - Optima Red Top 34R. The current battery has been there since my G was new - Dec 2002! That's 5 full years of faithful service.

We recommend replacement every 36 months for those that want trouble free driving.

A jump or tow will cost you more in free time [say $25 per hour] than the prorated cost of trying to squeeze another year out of a dying unit.

Change things before they fail!

My battery lasted me 75k miles, since December of 2002. When I changed it it JUST started getting weak. It started up in the cold fine, it just started to take a bit longer than usual.
